Global Warming And Greenhouse Gases

Global warming has recently become recognized by the vast majority of individuals. Now that we are beginning to feel and see the impact that global warming causes on the world, we are finally ready to change our ways and attempt to solve the problem instead of adding to the problem. Many people are now ready to take a stand and find ways to save the earth.

Once you have the knowledge of what causes global warming, you need to do something to help put an end to it. If one person out of every household made an honest effort to eliminate global warming, it will surely make a difference.

There are several different factors that increase the effects of global warming of our land. There are pollutants, such as gasses that negatively impact the atmosphere. Many of the gases combined over several years has caused the effects of global warming that we are now beginning to notice.

From the drastic increase in temperatures to the melting polar ice caps. These unwanted changes can be blamed directly on the greenhouse gases. These gases will continue to warm the earth until there is no hope for salvation on this land. Our land as we know it now will in a sense become dehydrated and unlivable.

Among these greenhouse gases that are destroying the atmosphere are water vapor, carbon dioxide and methane. These are all equally dangerous to the environment. It is vital for our planet to survive that we all pitch in and do our best to minimize the impacts our lives have on the environment.

Water vapor is the most common gas known to the majority of us. This is the gas that remains in the ground after the water has been evaporated. As the amount of water vapor increases so does the humidity levels in that area. Normally, this would keep the Earth from freezing. The environment has the ability to safely handle larger amounts of water vapor than when the atmosphere is warmer.

Another greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide. This is generally made when we burn fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are natural gas and coal, however, carbon dioxide is also created when trees and solid waste is burned. Although, it is possible for plants to remove the carbon dioxide by absorption as a natural process of the carbon cycle.

Methane gas is another type of gas tat is harmful to the environment and has been known to be an other cause of global warming. Most people know of this gas because of landfills. Generally this is created by the transportation and production of fossil fuels. Among two of the largest creators of methane gas are water treatment centers and natural gas systems.
